Magic of Nature

The crisp wind whips at my cheeks, causing me to pull my hoodie tighter around my head. I walk faster, eager to reach my destination. Something catches my eyes, and I come to a halt to admire what stands so vibrant and beautiful in such a cold environment. A tree sways with the winds, but not just any tree. The trunk comes jetting out of the ground about four feet, thick and round, then splits into three more large trunks reaching out in different directions. Each of these trunks continues up and out, sprouting large branches. The trunk and branches are no more remarkable than other trees I have seen, it's what the branches hold that made my breath catch. Millions of perfect pink flowers adorn the crown of this specific tree, flowing majestically with the changing winds. In awe I watch the flowers dance, and feel at complete peace with the earth, even as some of the flowers let a petal of two softly fall to the ground below.
I must be closer to this tree, I need to feel its spirit, I need to connect to its life force. I move closer, slowly, and position myself at its base. I sit. Immediately I am met with warmth, and buzzing... Looking up, I see thousands of bees collecting nectar, buzzing busily from one soft flower to the next. These small pink petals looked to be so fragile, and as if the bees knew this, they would gently land on one and take what they needed before gently moving to another. I can't take my eyes away from the magic of nature, some see bees and run in fear. I see this tree to not only be beautiful but also as a life source for a creature that our world depends on to survive.
Because of this tree; I get a moment of peace in my hectic world, and so do the bees.
